perimeter of a square = 4×side

diagonal of a square= sqroot 2 × length of side

And area = (side)^2

hence

(1)side =16 cm

perimeter=4×16=64cm

digonal=16sqrt2

area =(16)^2=256cm^2

(2)side=8.5m

perimeter =4×8.5=34m

area=(8.5)^2=72.25m^2

diagonal=8.5×sqroot2m

(3)side=2.5dm

perimeter=4×2.5=10dm

area=(2.5)^2=6.25dm^2

diagonal=2.5× sqroot2dm
