= rs.1600
Therefore, 1st discount = rs. 1600

2nd discount = 5% on amount of rs. 16000
So, 16000×5/100
=rs.800
Therefore, 2nd discount = rs.800

Total discount = 1600+800
= 2400

B also sells a car worth 36,000
Discount = 7%
So, 36,000×7/100
= rs. 2520
Therefore, total discount = rs.2520

Therefore, A gives a discount of rs.2400 and B gives a discount of rs.2520.

Actual price at which car was sold by A = 36,000 - 2400 = 33600.

Actual price at which car was sold by B = 36,000 - 2,520 = 33,480.
