To find -

  • Principal.

Solution -

Amount = \sf{P \bigg[1 + \dfrac{r}{100} \bigg]^n}

where,

  • P = Principal
  • R = Rate
  • n = time

Substitute the given values.

\sf{2360 = P \bigg[1 + \dfrac{12}{100} \bigg]^3}

:  \implies\sf{2360 = P \bigg[1 + \dfrac{6}{50} \bigg]^3}

:  \implies\sf{2360 = P \bigg[1 + \dfrac{3}{25} \bigg]^3}

:  \implies\sf{2360 = P \bigg[ \dfrac{25 + 3}{25} \bigg]^3}

:  \implies\sf{2360 = P \bigg[ \dfrac{28}{25} \bigg]^3}
