Here is your answer

A = 6000
T = 5 years
R = 4%
Let principal is x

As we know the formula

A = P(1 + RT/100)
6000 = x(1 +  \frac{5 \times 4}{100} ) \\ 6000 = x(1 +  \frac{1}{5} ) \\ 6000 = x( \frac{5 + 1}{5} ) \\ x =  \frac{6000 \times 5}{6}  \\ x = 5000
Therefore Principal is Rs 5,000
