leap year consists of 366 days 364 days mean 52 weeks which mean 52 fridays +2 days are extra there are seven posibble outcomes for these two days  mon, tues
tues,wed
wed,thurs
thurs,fri
fri,sat
sat,sun
sun,mon
so probability for 53 fridys in leap year  is 2/7

A leap year consists of 366 days i.e 52 weeks + 2 days remaining.

These 2-days can be

{Mon,Tue},{Tue,Wed},{Wed,Thu},{Thu,Fri},{Fri,Sat},{Sat,Sun},{Sun,Mon}.

The total number of cases = 7.

The number of cases in which we get a Friday = 2{Thu, Fri},{Fri, Sat}.

Therefore the required probability of getting 53 Fridays in a leap year = 2/7.

Hope this helps!
