total outcomes = 6(1,2,3,4,5 & 6)
favourable outcomes = 3(2,4 &6)

probability of getting a multiple of 2 = favourable outcome / total outcomes
=3/6
=1/2
=0.5

no. of possible outcomes - 6 i.e. 1,2,3,4,5,6
no. of outcomes with a multiple of 2= 3  i.e. 2,4,6
probability= outcome we want/ total possible outcomes
