Proper Question:-if the digits of a two digit number is 12.When 36 is added to this number,we got a new number with digits reversed.What is the number?
Answer:-
Let to be 10' unit digit number be x
then,
Let to be 1 unit digit number be y
Again,
x+y=12
Again
10x+y+36=10y+x
10x-x+y-10y=-36
9x-9y=-36
9(x-y)=-36
x-y=-4
Now solving the equation for elimination method
x+y=12
x-y=-4
_______
2y=16
y=16/2
y=8
No putting the value of y in another equation
x+y=12
x+8=12
x=12-8
x=4
then,
REQUIRED Number=10x+y
10*4+8
40+8
48
that's all
