The product is

 =  -  \frac{3}{5 {x}^{3}  {y}^{3} }

GIVEN:-

 \frac{2}{3xy}  \times ( -  \frac{9}{10 {x}^{2}  {y}^{2} } )

TO FIND:- product

SOLUTION:-

  • Product of two numbers is the multiplication or time of two numbers.
  • Product of a negative integer and positive integer is always positive.

 \frac{2}{3xy}  \times  -  \frac{9}{10 {x}^{2}  {y}^{2} }  \\

When we multiply powers which has same base then the powers are added like x × x² = x³ and y × y² = y³

We'll multiply the coefficients

  = -  \frac{18}{30 {x}^{1 + 2} {y}^{1 + 2}  }  \\  =  -  \frac{18}{30 {x}^{3} {y}^{3}  }

We'll reduce the fraction by dividing numerator and denominator by 6,

 =  -  \frac{18 \div 6}{30 {x}^{3} {y}^{3} \div 6  }  \\  =  -  \frac{3}{5 {x}^{3} {x}^{3}  }  \\

Hence, the product is

 =  -  \frac{3}{5 {x}^{3}  {y}^{3} }  \\
