Most simplified way to do so is gradual distribution.

30674x9

= (30000+674)x9

=30000x9 + 674x9

=270000 + (600+74)x9

= 270000 + 600x9 + (70+4)x9

= 270000 + 5400 + 70x9 + 4x9

= 270000 + 5400 + 630 + 36

= 270000 + 6066

= 276066
