ANSWER::

=> -4p×2pq+{3p}^{2}

• Here -4p and 2pq is multiplied .

=> (-4×2×p×p×q) + ({3p}^{2})

=> ({-8p}^{2}q) + ({3p}^{2})

=> {-8p}^{2}q + {3p}^{2}( <---- ANSWER)

REMEMBER::

• As in addition and in subtraction if the variable power and value is same means if they are like terms then only they will be added .

•But as {-8p}^{2}q and {3p}^{2} are unlike terms .So they cannot be added .

•Thats why they will remain same .
