First Method

l

(2x+3y) (2x-3y)

=2x (2x-3y)+3y(2x-3y)

=4x²-6xy +6xy -9y²

=4x²-9y²

ll

(3x²+2y²) (3x²-2y²)

=3x²(3x²-2y²)+2y²(3x²-2y²)

=9x⁴-6x²y²+6x²y²-4y⁴

= 9x⁴-4y⁴

Second Method Using Identity

I

(2x+3y) (2x-3y)

= (2x)²-(3y)² [Using identity a²- b² =( a+b)(a-b)]

=4x²-9y²

ll

(3x²+2y²) (3x²-2y²)

= (3x²)²-(2y²)² [Using identity a²- b² =( a+b)(a-b)]

= 9x⁴-4y⁴
