Correct Question :-

Find the product of (2x + 5y + 3) (2x + 5y + 4) using standard results.

Answer :-

  • {4x}^{2} + 20xy + 25y^{2} + 14x + 35y + 12

Given expression :-

  • (2x + 5y + 3) (2x + 5y + 4).

Let 2x + 5y = a.

Required Solution :-

=(a + 3)(a + 4)

= {a}^{2} + (3 + 4)a + 3 \times 4

= {a}^{2} + 7a + 12

=(2x + 5y)^{2} + 7(2x + 5y) + 12

=(2x)^{2} + 2(2x)(5y) + {(5y)}^{2} +14 x+ 35y + 12

= {4x}^{2} + 20xy + 25y^{2} + 14x + 35y + 12
