( 4x - 5) (2x + 3)

= (4x)(2x) + (4x)(3) + (-5)(2x) + (-5)(3)

= 12x^2 + 12x - 10x - 15

= 12x^2 + 2x - 15

(4x - 5)(2x + 3) \\ = 8 {x}^{2} - 10x + 12x - 15 \\ = 8 {x}^{2} + 2x - 15
