Soln: Brother, if A and a in your problem, both are same, then we can factorise easily, that is (may be it is small 'a' only)
a²-5a+6 = 0 [ '0′ is b/z, the every quadratic eqns contains 0)
a²-6a+a+6 = 0 [b/z, by splitting 6 into 6×1 as it should give a constant by adding or subtracting them both]
Now, take the common terms out by grouping the terms into two which we can get two common terms. So, we get
a(a-6)-1(a-6) = 0
(a-6)(a-1) = 0
Now, we know that principle that, “if a.b = 0, then a = 0 or b = 0.” Therefore, from this we can write it as,
(a-6) = 0 or (a-1) = 0
a = 0+6 or a = 0+1
Therefore, a = 6 or a = 1 as, a quadratic eqn has two roots.
