let \: the \: two \: zeroes \: be \:   \alpha  \: and \:  \beta

we \: know \: that \:  \\ sum \: of \: zeroes \:  =  - b \div a

 \alpha  +  \beta  =  - 1  \div 1

So sum of zeroes of the polynomial = -1
