Hi Logan! :)

Answer:

\boxed{-2\frac{5}{7}}

Step-by-step explanation:

Mixed numbers into improper fractions.

8 1/7=57/7

-1/3*(57/7)

You do remove parenthesis.

-1/3*57/7

Cancel it out by the common term/factor of 3.

=-19/7

Improper fractions into mixed numbers.

19/7=2 5/7

2 5/7 is the final answer.

Answer should be bold it in!

Hope this helps!

Thanks!

Have a nice day! :)

:D
