Answer:

multiplying each term with the second, gives the expression

(x^3)/8- (x^2y)/2 + (2xy^2)+ (x^2y)/2 - (2xy^2) + (8y^3)

some terms will cancel out and finally we get the answer as

(x^3)/8 + 8y^3
