The formula is (2m)2,(m2 - 1)2,(m2 + 1)2
Smallest member = 2m = 14
2m = 14
m = 14/2 = 7
m2 - 1 = 72 - 1 = 49 - 1 = 48
m2 + 1 = 72 + 1 = 49 + 1 = 50
The required triplet is 14 , 48 and 50.

hope it help you..

Answer:

Given 14 is the smallest number in Pythagorean triplet

But we have for every number m>1, we have (2m,m

2

−1,m

2

+1) as a Pythagorean triplet

2m=14

m=14/2=7

Then m

2

=49

m

2

−1=49−1=48

m

2

+1=49+1=50

Therefore the Pythagorean triple is =(2m,m

2

−1,m

2

+1)=(14,48,50)
