Pythagorean triplet: If in a triplet of natural numbers, the square of the biggest number is equal to the sum of the squares of the other two numbers, then the three numbers form a Pythagorean triplet.

3, 4, 5

\implies \sf{3^2 = 9, \; 4^2 = 16, \; 5^2 = 25}

\implies \sf{9 + 14 = 25}

\implies \sf{3^2 + 4^2 = 5^2}

∴ 3, 4 & 5 is a Pythagorean triplet.

2, 4, 5

\implies \sf{2^2 = 4, \; 4^2 = 16, \; 5^2 = 25}

\implies \sf{4 + 16 = 20 \neq 25}

\implies \sf{2^2 + 4^2 \neq 5^2}

∴ 2, 4 & 5 is not a Pythagorean triplet.

4, 5, 6

\implies \sf{4^2 = 16, \; 5^2 = 15, \; 6^2 = 36}

\implies \sf{16 + 25 = 41 \neq 36}

\implies \sf{4 ^2 + 5 ^2 \neq 6^2}

∴ 4, 5 & 6 is not a Pythagorean triplet.

2, 6, 7

\implies \sf{2 ^2 = 4, \; 6^2 = 36, \; 7^2 = 49}

\implies \sf{4 + 36 = 40 \neq 49}

\implies \sf{2^2 + 6^2 \neq 7^2}

∴ 2, 6 & 7 is not a Pythagorean triplet.
