Step-by-step explanation:

2x+4/x-9=0

2x square+4-9x/x=0

2x sq.-9x+4=0

a=2, b=-9, c=4

D= B sq-4ac

=(-9)sq -4(2)(4)

=81-32

=49.

X=-b+-√B sq -49 /2(a)

=-(-9)+-√49/2(2)

=9+-7/4

x=9+7/4.

16/4

=4

so, x=4

and x=9-7/4

=2/4

=1/2.
