Given question -:

Find the quadratic polynomial for the

zeros , 2 and - 5

let's try to solve the question

Given zeros

 \alpha = 2 \: and \: \beta = - 5

Now

 \alpha + \beta = 2 + ( - 5) = 2 -5 = - 3

and

  \alpha \beta = 2 \times ( - 5) = - 10

We have to find polynomial

so the formula to find polynomial when zeros are given

k{x}^{2} - ( \alpha + \beta )x + \alpha \beta

 {x}^{2} - ( - 3)x + ( - 10)

 {x}^{2} + 3x - 10

Hope this will help you

Thank you ..
