x^2 -2x+8 is the polynomial. And the zeroes are 4,-2.

sum of zeroes=2
product of zeroes=-8
p(x)=x^2-(sum)x+product
       =x^2-2x-8
we will do middle splitting.
x^2-2x-8=0
x^2-4x+2x-8=0
x(x-4)+2(x-4)=0
(x-4)(x+2)=0
x=4,-2
