X²- (sum of zeroes)x + (product of zeroes)
= X² -2x -8
Factor the polynomial,
X²-4x +2x -8= 0
X(x-4) +2(x-4) = 0
(X+2) (x-4) = 0
X = -2, x = 4
X²- (sum of zeroes)x + (product of zeroes)
= X² -2x -8
Factor the polynomial,
X²-4x +2x -8= 0

(X+2) (x-4) = 0
X = -2, x = 4
