Answer:

Sum of zeroes = -b/a =

-(coefficient of x)

______________ = 2

coefficient of x^2

So, -b 2 -(-2)

___ = ___ = ____ _____eqn(1)

a 1 1

Now,product of zeroes = c/a =

Constant term

________________ = -3 root 2

Coefficient of x^2

So, c -3 root 2

___ = _______ _____eqn(2)

a 1

By comparison of eqn 1 and 2

a=1 ; b=-2 AND c=-3 root 2.

Now putting values of a,b,c in standard form of quadratic polynomial we get

ax^2 +bx + c

x^2 -2x - 3 root 2.

For finding zero you should factorize the required quadratic polynomial.

Hope it helps..
