Step-by-step explanation:

General form of quadratic polynomial --

x^2 - (a+b) x + ab

Sum of the roots is 0 and product is -1

So (a+b) =0 and ab = -1

So , the quadratic polynomial is --

x^2 - (a+b)x + ab

x^2 - 0(x) + (-1)

x^2 -1

It is the required polynomial

Now if we have to find the zeros --

x^2 - 1 = 0

(x+1)(x-1) = 0

x=1 or x=-1

So , the roots are 1 and -1
