Given :-

α + β = 5 / 2

αβ = 1

P(x) = x2 - ( α + β )x + αβ

P(x) = x2 - 5/2x + 1

P(x) = 2x2 - 5x + 2

P(x) = 0

2x2 - 5x + 2 = 0

2x2 - 4x - x + 2 = 0

2x ( x - 2 ) - 1 ( x - 2 ) = 0

( 2x - 1 ) ( x - 2 ) = 0

2x - 1 = 0  & x - 2 = 0

# x = 1 / 2  &  x = 2 are zeros of P(x) #

Hope it helps ..!!! please

 {x}^{2}  - ( \alpha  +  \beta )x +  \alpha  \beta  = 0

is the formula used in this solution where alpha and beta are two roots of the quadratic

 {x}^{2}  - (0)x + ( \sqrt{5} ) = 0

is our required quadratic equation

hope it helps you
