Sum of zeroes (a+b)= 1
Product of zeroes (ab)= -12

A quadratic equation is of the form p(x) = kx²-(a+b)x + ab
                                                              = x² - (1)x +(-12)
                                                              = x² -x -12
Hence the equation is x² -x -12
