given :-

sum of zeroes = 4

product of zeroes = 1

standard form of quadratic polynomial = ax² + bx + c

we know that,

sum of zeroes = -b/a

and product of zeroes = c/a

so we can say that,

  • -b/a = 4 ➡ b/a = -4

and

  • c/a = 1

therefore a = 1, b = -4 and c = 1

hence, the quadratic polynomial is x² - 4x + 1
