Answer:

The required equation is given by :

x² - ( Sum of the zeroes) x + ( Product of the Zeros) =0

⟹ x² - ( 1/4 ) x + ( 1 ) = 0

4x² x + 1 = 0

Sum of zeroes = 4

Product of zeroes = 1

As we know that,

p(x) = x² - ( sum of zeroes )x + ( product of zeroes )

p(x) = x² - (1/4)x + (1)

p(x) = x² - 1/4x + 1

∴  p(x) = x² - 4x + 1
