quadratic polynomial = x²-(2-6)x + 2× -6

= x²+ 4x - 12

let a = 1, b = 4 , c = -12

verify

sum of zeroes = -b/a

2-6 = -4/1

-4 = -4

product of zeroes = c/a

2× -6 = -12/1

-12 = -12

hence, proved
