The roots of the equation to be formed are given as.

Therefore,  

the sum of roots = -2/3 + 3/4

= 1/12

Product of roots = -2/3 ×3/4

= -1/2

so the quadratic equation to be formed is of the form

x2-(sum of roots)x + product of roots

x2-x/12-1/2
