GIVEN:

Zeroes of quadratic polynomial are 3 and -2/3

TO FIND:

Quadratic polynomial

SOLUTION:

We know that,

The standard form of quadratic polynomial is,

x² - (sum of zeroes)x + (product of zeroes)

Sum of zeroes of polynomial = 3 + (-2/3)

(α + β) = 7/3

Product of zeroes = 3 × (-2)/3

(αβ) = -2

==> x² - (7/3)x - 2

Therefore, the required polynomial is x² - 7/3 x - 2.
