Given :–

  • Sum of zeros = 0
  • Product of zeros = √5

To Find :–

  • The quadratic polynomial.

Solution :–

Formula :–

Quadratic polynomial = x² – (α + β)x + α × β

Here values of α + β and αβ are:

  • α + β = 0
  • α × β = √5

Now put the values in the quadratic polynomial formula.

So,

⟹ x² – (0)x + √5

We know that, any integer is multiply by 0 then the result is also 0.

⟹ x² – 0 + √5

⟹ x² + √5

Hence,

The quadratic polynomial is x² + √5.
