Here's your answer...

Circumference of circle = 2πr

17.6 = 2 × 22/7 × r

17.6 = 44/7 × r

17.6 × 7 = 44 × r

123.2 = 44 × r

123.2/44 = r

2.8 = r

Radius = 2.8 cm

Diameter = Radius × 2

= 2.8 × 2

= 5.6 cm
