Given :

  • Shape = Circle
  • Circumference of Circle = 16π cm

 \\

To Find :

  • Radius of Circle
  • Area of Circle

 \\

Solution :

⟹ Circumference of Circle = 2πr

⟹ 16π = 2πr

⟹ 16 = 2r

⟹ 16/2 = radius

⟹ 8cm = radius

Now,

⟹ Area of Circle = πr²

⟹ Area of Circle = 22/7 × (8)²

⟹ Area of Circle = 22/7 × 8 × 8

⟹ Area of Circle = 22/7 × 64

⟹ Area of Circle = 22 × 64/7

⟹ Area of Circle = 1408/7

⟹ Area of Circle = 201.14 cm²

Therefore :

  • Radius of Circle = 8cm
  • Area of Circle = 201.14cm²
