find the radius of a circle for which an arc 30cm long subtends an angle of 45° at the centre.

arc length   =   circumference • [central angle (degrees) ÷ 360]
here
circumference   =   2 • π • r
arc length   =   2 • π • r• [central angle (degrees) ÷ 360]
=> 30 = 2*22/7*r*45/360
=> r = 30 * 360 * 7 / (2 * 22 * 45)
=> r = 38.19cm
