Find the radius of a circle whose area is equal to the area of triangle with medians 3m, 4m ,5m

If you want to find the area of a triangle when only value of sides are given , then we use Heron’s formula which states ‘ Area = root of [s(s-a)(s-b)(s-c) ]’  where s = a+b+c/2 and a,b,c are the sides of the triangle

Here S = 3+4+5/2              

= 12/2

 = 6.

Using formula

Area = root of [6(6-3)(6-4)(6-5)]

 = root of [ 6*3*2*1 ]                              (* stands for multiplication)

 = root of [ 36 ]

= 6 square metres
