Heya!!

Circumference of circle = 132 cm.

Let the radius of circle be 'r'

Then,

Circumference of circle = 2*pi*r

=) 132 = 2*22/7 *r

=) 132 = 44/7 * r

=) r = ( 132*7)/44

=) r = 3*7

=) r = 21 cm

Hence, the radius of circle is 21 cm.

Hope it helps u :)

The radius of circle is 21 cm.

Given:

  • Circumference of circle is 132 cm.

To find:

  • Radius of circle.

Solution:

Formula to be used:

  • Circumference of circle: 2πr

Step 1:

Equate given circumference with the formula.

2\pi \: r = 132 \\

or

r =  \frac{132}{2\pi}  \\

Step 2:

Put the value of π and solve

r =  \frac{132 \times 7}{22 \times 2}  \\

or

\bf \red{r = 21 \: cm} \\

Thus,

The radius of circle is 21 cm.
