Given :- circumference of circle is same as the perimeter of a square of side 22m.

To Find :- Radius of the circle ?

Solution :-

given that,

→ Side of square = 22 m

So,

→ Perimeter of square = 4 * side = 4 * 22 = 88 m .

Now, let us assume that, radius of circle is equal to r m .

So,

→ Circumference of circle = Perimeter of square = 88 m

→ 2 * π * radius = 88

→ 2 * (22/7) * r = 88

→ (44/7) * r = 88

→ r = (88 * 7)/44

→ r = 2 * 7

→ r = 14 m (Ans.)

Hence, the radius of the circle is equal to 14 m .

Extra knowledge :-

  • Area of square = (side)²
  • Area of circle = π(radius)²
