1km = 1000m

circumfernce=8800m or 8.8km

circumfernce=2πr
8800=2*22/7*r
8800=44/7*r
8800*7/44=r
200*7=r
1400=r
radius=1400m or 1.4km

area of a circle=πr²
                         =22/7*1400*1400
                         =22*200*1400
                         =4400*1400
                         =6160000
area=6160000m or 6160km

Heya,

Given:-

Circumference = 8.8 km = 8.8 × 1000 = 8800m

To Find:-
* Radius of the circular garden
* Area of the circular garden

Solution:-

Radius:

Circumference = 2πr
8800 = 2 × 22/7 × r
8800 × 7/ 2 × 22 = r
4400 × 7/ 2 × 11 = r
400 × 7/ 2 = r
200 × 7 = r
1400 = r
1400m = r

Area:

Area = πr^2
Area = 22/7 × 1400 ×1400
Area = 22 × 200 × 1400
Area = 6,160,000m^2
Area = 6160km^2

Hope my answer helps you :)

Regards,
Shobana
