Given:

  • Surface area of sphere = 1256sq.cm
  • π = 3.14

To find:

  • The radius of sphere.

Solution:-

We know:

CSA of sphere = 4πr²

Where,

  • r = radius
  • π = 3.14
  • CSA = 1256sq.cm

Putting the values,

→CSA = 4πr²

⇒1256 = 4(3.14)(r)²

⇒1256/4 = 3.14r²

⇒314 = 3.14r²

Cancelling out common terms from both sides,

⇒ r² = 100

⇒ r = √100

r = 10m

Hence,

The radius of sphere is 10m.
