Given,

A circle is outside of a square i.e, square is inscribed in a cirle.
From the figure,
diagonal of square = diameter of circle
→ diameter of circle = √2 a
→ 2r = √2 a
→ r = a/√2
→ r = 20/√2
→ r = 10 √2
Therefore,
Radius of circle = 10√2 cm
