GIVEN :

  • CURVED SURFACE AREA (CSA) = 1884.4 m²
  • SLANT HEIGHT (l) =12 cm

TO FIND :

  • RADIUS OF CONE

SOLUTION :

SLANT HEIGHT (l) = 12 cm = 0.12 m

CSA OF CONE = 1884.4 m²

 =  > \pi rl = 1884.4 \\  \\  =  >  \frac{22 \times 0.12 \times r}{7}  = 1884.4 \\  \\  =  > r =  \frac{1884.4 \times 7}{22 \times 0.12}  = 4996.5 \: m \\  \\  = 49.96 \: cm
