Given info : 8 spherical balls are made from a solid sphere of radius 10 cm by melting it.

To find : the radius of each spherical ball is ..

solution : let radius of each spherical ball is r.

volume of 8 spherical balls = volume of spherical solid sphere

⇒8 × 4/3πr³ = 4/3 π (10 cm)³

⇒8r³ = (10 cm)³

⇒(2r)³ = (10 cm)³

⇒2r = 10 cm

⇒r = 5 cm

Therefore the radius of each of the spherical balls is 5 cm.
