the diameter of the largest sphere can be cut from the cube is the length of the edge of cube.

therefore diameter of spehere is the length of the edge of cube.

if the edge of the cube is 8cm then the diameter of the sphere is also 8cm.

hence radius of the spehere=8/2

=4cm (as we know diameter is double of radius)
