Given side of the cube = 8 cm

It's volume = Side³ = 8³ = 512 cm³.

Then it is to be melt to form a sphere.

So the volume of sphere =

 \frac{4}{3} \pi {r}^{3} = 512 \\ \\ \frac{4}{3} \times \frac{22}{7} \times {r}^{ 3} = 512 \\ \\ {r}^{3} = \frac{512 \times 7 \times 3}{22 \times 4} \\ \\ r = 4.96

The required radius = 4.96 cm
