Given : Surface area of ball =  60 sq inches   or 60π sq inches

To find : Radius of Ball

Solution:

Let say radius of Ball = r

Ball is  spherical Shape

Surface area of Ball = 4πr²

Case 1 :

Surface area of Ball  = 60 sq inches

=> 4πr² = 60

=> πr² = 15

using  π = 3.14

=> 3.14 r² = 15

=>  r² = 4.777

=> r = 2.186  inch

none of the given option matches

Case 2 :

Surface area of Ball  = 60π sq inches

=> 4πr² = 60π

=> r² = 15

=> r = √15  inch

Last option is correct
