A = 154 cm ^2
Area of circle = pie r ^2

So,

154 = pie r^2
154 = 22/7 × r^2
154 ×7/22 = r^2
7×7 = r^2
49 = r^2
7 = r

Concept

The radius of the circle is half the diameter.

Where diameter is chord having two end points in circle.

Given

The area of circle given is 154cm^2

Find

We need to find the radius of the circle

Solution

The Area of the circle is 154

Area of circle is

\pi \: r^{2}

The area of the circle is given

So we will substitute the value of Area of circle is 54

and taking the value of pi is 22/7

154 = 22/7*r^2

154*7/22 = r^2

r^2 =49

As r^2 is 49 we will take the square root of 49

to find the value of r

Therefore r = 7

Hence the radius is 7cm
