Surface area of sphere = 15 cm².

r = ?

Surface area of sphere = 4πr²

15 = 4 × 3.14 × r²

15 = 12.56 × r²

r² = 15 ÷ 12.56

r² = 1.19

r = √1.19

r = 1.09 cm

\huge{\bold{\underline{\underline{Question:-}}}}

Find the radius of the sphere whose surface area is 15cm.

\huge{\bold{\underline{\underline{Solution:-}}}}

Surface area of sphere = 4πr²

Also, surface area of sphere = 15cm²

A.T.Q.

{4\pi \: r}^{2}  =  {15cm}^{2}

4 \times  \frac{22}{7}  \times  {r}^{2}  = 15

 {r}^{2}  =  \frac{15 \times 7}{22 \times 4}

 {r}^{2}  =  \frac{105}{88}

 {r}^{2}  = 1.19(approx)

r =  \sqrt{1.19}

r = 1.09

So, Radius of circle is = 1.09 cm(approx)
