4pie r^2 = 616cm^2
4×22/7 ×r^2 =616
88r^2/7 = 616
616×7/88
r^2 = 49
r = 7

anmolagrawal960: After 49 you have taken root

adityasinghyadav77: if one side is square then another side it becomes under root

Given,

The total surface area/curved surface area/surface area of sphere is 616cm^2.

To find out,

The radius of the sphere.

Solution:

 \huge \:surface \: area \: of \: sphere \:  = 4 \pi \:  {r}^{2}  \\  \\ 616 = 4 \times  \frac{22}{7}  \times  {r}^{2} \\  \\  \frac{616}{4}  =  \frac{22}{7}  \times  {r}^{2}  \\  \\ 154 =  \frac{22}{7}  \times  {r}^{2} \\  \\  \frac{154 \times 7}{22}  =  {r}^{2}  \\  \\  \frac{1078}{22}  =  {r}^{2}  \\  \\ 49 =  {r}^{2}  \\  \\ r =  \sqrt{49}  \\  \\ r = 7 \: cm

Therefore the radius of the sphere is 7cm.
